Apple to Release iOS 9 on September 16

After several months of testing in beta builds, Apple finally announced that the newest version of its mobile OS iOS 9 will be released on September 16. This release is faster than Windows 10 Mobile, which until now still in a preview stage.

IOS 9 brings many new features to adopt the system of multitasking on Android and Microsoft Snap Card, improved performance, more durable battery usage, and much more. From now on, you don’t need to worry about running more than one application on your iPhone.

iOS 9 releaseIOS 9 can also be downloaded and installed by almost all users of Apple’s devices, including:

  • iPhone 4s
  • iPhone 5
  • iPhone 5c
  • iPhone 5s
  • iPhone 6
  • iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPad 2
  • iPad 3rd generation
  • iPad 4th generation
  • iPad Air
  • iPad Air 2
  • iPad mini
  • iPad mini 2
  • iPad mini 3
  • iPod touch 5th generation

IOS 9 is also directly installed to be the default OS of Apple’s latest device that has just been announced, like the iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4, iPhone 6S, and iPhone 6S Plus.

From multitasking “Slide Over” and “Split View”, as well as embedded Siri’s search experience, then the IOS 9 seems to be prepared to compete directly with Cortana, Google Now, and productivity apps offered by Microsoft Surface.

The competition is getting tighter, yes. Every time there is an advantage offered by a particular platform, then the other will adopt and sometimes makes it better a different way on other platforms. Maybe that’s what makes the technology is always evolving without stopping.
